"Jessica is my favorite kind of writing consultant--the kind to whom you can delegate a project and then step back with complete confidence, knowing you will receive a top-notch draft that required no hand-holding. She is independent, deadline oriented, and very professional. As editor of an academic health publication, I hired her for many complex medical and scientific pieces, and she consistently showed a keen ability to digest and translate information provided by physicians and researchers. She also offered creative ideas for the most effective ways to enhance articles through photography and illustration. Everyone at our institution who came into contact with Jessie was impressed with her talent and demeanor. "

"I had the pleasure of working with Jessica on a report called Looking Ahead: Philadelphia’s Aging Population in 2015, published by Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) in 2006. She is an exceptionally clear thinker as well as fast and gifted writer. She helped us develop a logical flow for this report and find clear paths through complex data. As she turned to each new topic, she had an uncanny ability to find the key points and explain them in straightforward, appealing language. Jessica was able to simplify our jargon, yet respect the nuances of the data as we presented this important story about the changing needs of older people and their families in our region.
Jessica is also a genius at spotting good quotes. Our client was impressed with the whole report, and particularly appreciated the creative way Jessie used quotes from interviews and focus groups to give life and meaning to the data. She is well organized, meets every deadline, and is a delight to work with. She jumped into our project midstream, grasped the material instantly and became a full partner in the effort. Philadelphia Corporation for Aging featured the study at national and local conferences and in its annual report and on its website. The report has been cited in the local and gerontological press."

Legacy & Values Books
I wasn't sure my husband would be able to create a Forever Book because at that time his illness had affected his cognition and verbal acuity. He decided that he would like this opportunity to talk about his life—what was important to him and how he hoped people would remember him. He shared with me that he found the two interview sessions with Jessie to be a moving experience. Very little time and effort on our part was required: I offered input on questions, reviewed text for accuracy and provided photos. The result is a remarkable book that captures my husband’s essence—what made him a vital, loving person. With his death, this beautiful testament to his life allows me to hold and cherish his memory and share it with others. -R.M
